Prof. Dr. Michael Custodis vom Institut für Musikwissenschaft Münster ist in das Präsidium des Deutschen Musikrats (DMR) gewählt worden. Der DMR engagiert sich für die Interessen von 16,9 Millionen musizierenden Menschen in Deutschland und ist weltweit der größte nationale Dachverband der Musikkultur. Er repräsentiert über 100 Organisationen und Dachverbände des professionellen Musiklebens und des Amateurmusizierens einschließlich der 16 Landesmusikräte. Dort wird Prof. Dr. Custodis für die kommenden 4 Jahre die Anliegen der Wissenschaft vertreten.
Prof. Dr. Michael Custodis from the Department of Musicology in Münster has been elected to the Presidium of the German Music Council (DMR). The DMR represents the interests of 16.9 million musicians in Germany and is the world’s largest national organization for music culture. It represents over 100 organizations and associations involved in professional and amateur music, including the 16 state music councils. Prof. Dr. Custodis will represent the interests of academia there for the next four years.
