Olav Berge

Teacher and church singer. On 14th May 1943 he was arrested for refusing duty as a civil watchman (“Nektet å gjöre borgervakt.”) and released on 8th June 1943. He was arrested again on 20th July 1943 after having refused to sing in the Lårdal church on 18th July 1943 and not having done his duty as watchman at the flagpole in May (“Nektet å være kirkesanger Lårdal Kirke 18.7.1943. Ikke utfört vakthold flaggstang 15.-18. mai. Arrestert til sikring.”). He was released on 18th September 1943 from Bredtveit prison.
