Georg Egenberg

After being educated at the teacher school (“lærerskole”) in Stord he studied singing in Stockholm. Afterwards he was trained in logopedics in Sweden and Denmark before he returned to Stavanger to work as a singing teacher and church musician. He was arrested in March 1942 and was imprisoned in KZ Grini and with the Gestapo at Oslo Victoria Terasse. He was arrested again on 24th November 1944 in Stavanger and sent to KZ Grini on 8th December 1944 (#16288) until liberation day 8th May 1945.
