Eilif Gulbranson

He studied at the Oslo conservatory, in Kiel (1923) and Copenhagen (1926). In 1937 he was in Berlin to study with Paul Hindemith who shortly afterwards went into exile. Since 1920 Gulbranson worked as a teacher for organ and singing in Trondheim and published concert reviews in the newspaper Dagsposten (1920-43). Between 1924 and 1937 he also served as chairman for the Trondheim Music Teacher Association.
