Wassily Kvetzinsky

Musician (“spillelærer”) and councelor (“konsulent”) in the ministry of culture (“Kulturdepartementet”). He was arrested and brought to Polizeigefängnis Møllergata 19 in Oslo on 15th March 1941. Further he was sent to KZ Grini on 10th July 1941 (#343) where he was released on 2nd February 1942. He sketched the beginning of the second theme of the symphonic poem “in captivity” (“i fangenskap”) in Magne Molvik’s “Minnebok fra Grini 1941”.
