She was a pupil on the peninsula Bygdøy outside of Oslo when she was arrested on 11th November 1943 for singing a patriotic, German-critical song („jøssingsang“). She was imprisoned in KZ Grini (#8565) and released on 2nd February 1944. On 27th April 1945 she was arrested a second time and sent to Polizeigefängnis Møllergata 19 in Oslo the next day. She was released on liberation day 8th May 1945.
