Pianist, bassoonist and composer from Hønefoss. As a hostage for his brother (who had fled to Sweden) he was arrested on 19th April 1944, at that time living in Aker. He was questioned at prison Victoria Terrasse in Oslo (the headquarters of Sipo and SD in Norway) before he was sent to KZ Grini (#10627) the same day. At an unknown date he was transferred to KZ Bardufoss in Målselv in the North of Norway near Tromsø for an unknown period of time. He was released from KZ Grini on liberation day 8th May 1945.
