„The Still Small Voice“. A Videoessay with Steve Vai (2023)

In August 2022 Michael Custodis conducted two interviews with the American guitarist and composer Steve Vai while he was recording several of his orchestra works in Tampere, Finland. Reflecting on these recording sessions he analyzes how Vai communicates sounds, how he corrects errors in the studio, and especially how he manages to capture the perfect moment.
